Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just ordered my 3rd pair I had found these in a shoe store several years ago. Immediately a great comfortable steel toe that didn't need any break in. I have bought again (on line now) and just ordered my 3rd set of steel toes. I also have purchased boots for personal use non-steel toe. All great, all comfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from My boyfriend has had these work boots for less than a month and they now have holes in the top of the boot above the composite toe. If you are up and down (mechanic style work) daily then these boots don't stand up to meet the requirements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Boot and Loyal Customer Now I found these to be a very durable yet comfortable pair of work boots. First I wanted to give a little background. I my prior pair of boots was a 6” pair of black tactical side-zip boots from a different company that lasted me 4 years so the bar was set quite high. To add to that, I am 6’4” and require a size 15 boot, this typically has to be bought online so when I buy boots, I expect them to last. I spend a lot of time on my feet in various elements and run my boots through the gauntlet while wearing them. One of the mistakes I made on my last boots was not getting waterproof ones. That is why when I set out for a new pair, waterproof was a priority. I was hesitant to but steel or composite toe boots because I knew that that added weight to the shoe and long days could lead to tired feet quick with heavy shoes. When I first found the Precision Ultra Lite II Waterproof Composite Toe boots, one of the first things I noticed was the weight, 22.4 ounces. It is hard to get a rough idea of what this is in your head but they are quite light and may even be lighter than my previous pair of non-composite toe boots. This is what ultimately led me to be set on these or another pair of Magnum composite toe boots. The boot itself is very durable leather that is actually a bit glossier than the picture seems to indicate which is fine because I actually like a little shine in my boots. The first day I received these boots, I immediately tried them on to break them in and that didn’t even seem necessary as they came in a broken in manner. The M-P.A.C.T insole is a very soft material but also seems like it will last a long time. Towards the end of my previous pair of boots, I had to buy a pair of insoles and I think the insoles in these boots may actually be softer than the purchased pair. I have already worn these boots in 90+°F temperatures and the material is so breathable that my feet were unaffected by the heat, they didn’t even break a sweat. I have also worn them in heavy rains, and not one drop of water got in to the boot. In addition to the waterproof membrane, there is also a gusset tongue that prevents water and other sediments from entering the boot. I haven’t tested them in bitter cold yet since I only received them towards the end of summer and we are just now entering winter. I have, however, worn them in temperatures around 20°F. They are not winter boots and are not insulated boots so I wasn’t sure how they would be in the cold. My feet were just as warm at the end of the day as they were at the beginning with just a regular pair of socks on. As I mentioned, I transitioned from a pair of side zip boots which give a lot of room so I wasn’t sure how snug these would be. My foot is able to slip right in and the boots are able to be tightened so that my foot isn’t sliding around. I haven’t really worn these boots on ice or in oil so I can’t fully vouch for the traction but just every day walking seems to have a better grip than some of my previous pairs of boots so I am sure they will do fine in the future when I encounter these elements. The composite toe seems very strong and has never seemed to put my toes in danger in the wearing I have put them through. I have seen some reviews that show that they cut at your ankles. I personally have not experienced this problem and in fact find the contoured upper back to be comfortable. I also wanted to speak of Magnum’s customer service. The representative I worked with was very friendly and professional as well as knowledgeable about the products. The representative was very timely in his email responses. I also love that they include extra laces. I hadn’t noticed this when I saw the boots online and was surprised with them when I opened the box. They delivered the boots very quickly and right in the delivery window. I officially think all of my future boots will be coming from Magnum.

Interested in these boots, but the widest I see is a EEE, I need at least an H (EEEE) width in an 11.5.  Anything comperable in a 5/6", black, safety toe, waterproof boot in that size?

Hello i had a pair of ultra lite 1 in the past and loved them other then the safety toe area was not wide enough.  Did they inprove on this with the 2 model.  It rubbed my toe. I have very flat wide feet and very hard to find something that fits right.
