Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Work Boot i've owned these for 5 months and they have seen everything from walking hard concrete floors , climbing ladders (including 40 footers) and being on the same rung all day ,to walking thru oil/mud and site debris etc ... I Love the ladder grips and the composite toe , they stand up to everything i throw at them ... Even use these when working around/on some boats at the lake ...only drawback is not as breathable as i would like for hot work like my beloved Spider 8.1 Tac-Specs , those are my training boots but in 8 inch are a bit much for daily job site . Hey theres an idea , bring back the 8.1 desert in a 6inch with a composite toe ...ill buy em all! ...lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Work Boots I have worn these boots for years! Never had any problems working on concrete floors all day and boots get covered in concrete and dirt and I just wash them off with the water hose. I only waterproof them once when I first get them. I only replace them when the inside is worn out. I have never had any problems with the outsides of any of these boots. I use my old boots for work around the house and some are over 3 years old. I keep a pair of new boots to slowly break in before wearing to work. I usually by a pair every year. Insoles last about 6-8 months. Of all the Magnums I have owned the P.U.L. has been the best and the LIGHTEST!!! I currently have a new pair on standby! Out of my 6 pairs of Magnums 4 are P.L.U.s. My 8"side zips are for motorcycle riding only and are the only ones that get any T.L.C. they are older and still in great shape.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very comfortable and light weight boot Purchase based a month ago and so glad I did. Went from wearing two pairs of socks to one pair, due to sweating. No extra shoe laces but other than that no complaints. About to order the black ones for winter. No more Redwing brand for me

Rated 5 out of 5 by from VERY COMFORTABLE I'VE HAD THESE BOOTS FOR THREE YEARS NOW AND THEY ARE JUST STARTING TO WEAR! THESE BOOTS ARE SO COMFORTABLE AND LIGHTWEIGHT TOO. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE BEST ONES THAT I'VE OWNED AND I USUALLY GET A NEW PAIR EVERY YEAR. THE ONLY DOWNFALL IS THAT THEY WILL STAIN WITH FUEL OR OIL,BUT I USUALLY ONLY WEAR THEM AT WORK AND IT'S NO FASHION SHOW!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rugged work boots, great for hunting too I'm hard on work boots,6 months they're done and in the trash....until now.Mine are a little worn on the inside, but otherwise still going good. While I've since retired,my magnums haven't quit. They are also good hunting boots, very comfortable with the correct socks.Love the nylon lacing components, better than brass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel! I bought these and wore them for the first time to work today. My job requires me to bend down, standing and climbing ladders. These boots worked great. Lighter than other composite toed boots I have worn and very comfortable. Great padding on the inside. I strongly recommend them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from fall apart in 3 months Front has to be super guled back down. The black padding comes off in the first week. Leather is cracking all over allowing water to come inside the boots. Over all the boots will fall apart on your feet in 3 months of construction work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from extreamly comfortable I purchased these boots 6 months ago and I am very happy with how they have held up and the comfort they provide. It is time for some new insoles but other than that they are hardly wore and I am on my feet 12+ hours a day.

I'm looking for a comfortable work boot since I work long hours and log many miles on my feet. How comfortable is a Magnum work boot? I've tried many work boots from Red Wings to Timberlands. Please let me know

Asked by: DJJC
Magnum has a good reputation for being reliable, durable and comfortable. In regards to a comfortable work boot that you wear for long hours, we would recommend the Stockton 6.0 or the Precision Ultra Lite II.

I see you have several boot options that are "electrical resistant."  Does that indicate that they meet the ASTM electrical hazard rating requirements?
