- GREAT EVERY DAY ALL WEATHER SHOE Review by BGRD
I have problems with high arches so it is very difficult for me to find shoes. At first the support was fine but after about 6 months I had to put a pair of back support inserts in place of the originals, and they are right back to perfect. The fit, finish and workmanship are far superior from a competitor's boots that I had found and have lasted twice as long already and still going. They are not classified as waterproof but are very water resistant and stand up well to WI winter weather, both in traction and moisture resistance. I would highly recommend this product and am looking to purchase another pair soon, as I do wear these 7 days a week to the office and everywhere else. Thank you for a great product and the only improvement for me would better arch support for those of us with high arch problem feet. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- LOVE THESE BOOTS Review by FRED
I've had these boots for close to 2 years now and they are still as comfortable as the day I bought them. I work 6 days a week and I am on my feet for 10 to 15 hours a day. I couldn't imagine life without my Magnums! I've had to replace the M-PACT liner twice, but the shoes still hold up and are like new. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- BEST BOOT YOU CAN BUY FOR THE MONEY Review by JONATHAN
I wear my Magnum boots every day for about 12-14 hours. I work two jobs front-to-back so comfort and durability are what I expect from my boots. My boots have gone through some of the toughest environments in construction and lawn care and I cannot believe how comfortable and durable they have been. The feel like a top quality running shoe, with the support and ruggedness you would expect from a boot. I have owned boots at twice the price and these outperformed them all. You will not be disappointed!! (Posted on 1/16/13)
- GREAT TOUGH BOOT Review by JOHN
I have worn the Stealth Force 6.0 (5248) now for over a year inside and out of a correctional environment for 5 days a week, 12 hours a day, and these boots are tough. The only damage they had: the toes are scuffed, had to replace the shoe laces only once and put insoles in them. That's pretty good for being old and well used in harsh conditions. - VOL. FIREFIGHTER Review by Matt
I have had the boots for over a year, and use them almost every day. Had to replace the insoles with a gel insole but that's just because I got them wet and the insole got messed up. Love these boots and hope they last forever and will never buy another brand of boots. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- Tried and True Review by Daniel
I have been wearing the Stealth 6.0 for 2 years now,1 year as a loss prevention agent, and one year as a security guard. I have come to understand this boot personally.
My Stealth 6.0s were comfortable out of the box, with a personal break-in period of about 2 weeks. The presence of a kick pad means is in fact designed with motorcyclists in mind, however, the Stealth 6.0 is still an extremely well rounded boot. The upper is very breathable, heat/moisture are not an issue.
The tread of the boot works exceptionally well in the following dry conditions: concrete, dirt, gravel, carpet, tile, sand, wood and grass. Walking on these surfaces is smooth, just the right amount of traction and great shock absorption. In wet conditions: cement, carpet.
This boot is not designed for wet/cold weather, as such you will not get the grip, warmth, or waterproofing required of some job sites. Although this boot is not waterproof, it is water resistant; i.e. walking through wet grass. Also, the Stealth 6.0 is just tall enough to tuck your pant leg into for a bit of extra warmth if need be.
The method in which you lace these boots is vital, and depending on your needs you can achieve different fits. For example, instead of crossing over at the 4th eyelet to the 5th, move up to the 5th eyelet on the same side, and you can trade a huge amount of flexibility for a small amount of stability. GREAT for someone like myself who rotates between indoor building patrols and lobby duties, to outdoor patrol and running/chasing of bad guys.
If you’re a motorcyclist, and work in an indoor/dry environment, this (or one of its alterations) is without a doubt the boot you’re looking for. The back of the boot is padded, and has a dip for your achilles tendon, allowing you to comfortably stand on the balls of your feet. The center of the boot is reinforced for bearing weight on foot rests/pedals. Kick pad keeps the back of your boot looking presentable, and the toe can be polished for those whose job site requires it.
As a final note, I mentioned the way you laced the Stealth 6.0 to be vital, from the 4th to 5th eyelet, DO NOT CROSS UNDER, CROSS OVER INSTEAD. Crossing under at this point causes too much friction on the tongue and WILL cut through it in a very short amount of time. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- REALLY WIDE FEET Review by 417PC
Off duty I wear sneakers size 9.5 EEEEEE. That's wide, baby. On Halloween I paint my feet orange and go out as a duck. Footwear is a problem for me and Magnum's are my boot of choice and I've tried just about every boot out there. I buy 10 Wide and insert custom orthotics. Until I break down and buy custom boots, this is as good as it gets for me. My 6" stealth force is my daily driver. I've had them over a year and they are still wearing well zippers still zipping. Comfortable boots. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- Great boots for everyday use! Review by Michael
I am on my second pair of these boots and they have lasted me a long time. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear everyday even going to school. As all boots get a little dirty from dust, shine them up and they look fanstatic after a long day of walking. Also, these boots look great when wearing jeans. (Posted on 11/2/12)
- Really Great Boots Review by Dave
These are really great boots. This is my second pair. They are very light, very comfortable, very durable, and the shine up very well. They don't get hot or wet on the inside either. I wore the first pair for about 3 years. I highly recommend the Magnum boots. (Posted on 10/6/12)
