Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boots but wouldn't mind a bit more durability I have been a nurse for over 25 years. I've worked as a flight nurse using your boots, but am currently working as an ER/ICU RN and a hospital supervisor. I've been buying the same model of Magnum boot for over 8 years now. Have gone through 5 pairs of boots. They are super comfortable, very light, have great ankle support, and breath nicely in the tropical environment I work in. I wish they were more durable - they scuff easily and some parts of the sock liner tend to wear down faster than others. But considering all the great attributes, I would still buy these again. There is a lot of running, going up and down stairs, kicking stuff (gurney brakes, rolling carts, doors, etc) in my job, so your boots get a lot of abuse. The old boots don't go to waste - they are retired for hiking and yard duty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot I've been wearing these for several years. I wear them onstage (I tour with a rock band) and in the winter. They are the most comfortable boots I've tried and seem to last a long time. They have a quick break-in time. I have to use orthotics with them, as the Magnum insert does not have enough cushioning or arch support for me. I tried another company's offerings but they are not nearly as comfortable, and the heel-rise is too high for me. Switched back to Magnums after a short trial of the other brand. If I could change one thing it would be to have Magnum add more cushioning to the heal area. I have heel pain and my right foot supinates due to an old ankle injury, so that's why I have to wear orthotics. If the insert were better and addressed the issues I mentioned (arch support and cushioning), the boot would get 5 stars from me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very comfortable boots. These boots are very comfortable and light. However if you are hard on boots, you may want to try the work boots instead. I have owned two pairs of these, and they have not lasted a full year. I will still will buy these boots again, just not for my everyday job. The company did stand behind the boots, and replaced them under the warranty. Now I use them when riding my motorcycle. Most comfortable boots I have owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boots i just recently purchased these boots for work but have been buying magnum boots for more than twenty years. i have bought boots that cost less and that cost more but for the money and comfort I will continue to buy magnum. They are much easier to break in, very comfortable and I love the side zipper. I can't say enough good things about magnum boots. I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good outdoor work boot I've had a pair of these for about 3 years, they have been used for recovery work in the desert. To driving great distances in a truck, they have stood up to hard core abuse and survived. If I could get them resoled I'd keep using them, as the sole has warn down smooth. I will be getting another pair of these in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great comfort I had been battling bouts of tendonitis in my feet from the boots I was wearing. I tried several makes & models to no avail until I finally went back to Magnums. Just a couple of weeks in these boots with gel sole inserts and the pain is completely gone. All my other boots are going to the donation bin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fourth pair This is the perfect boot. I wear mine on the motorcycle, working around the house or the yard and then shine them up if I'm wearing them out to dinner. I have purchased this same pair every 24-36 months for the last ten 9 years. I am a lifetime customer at this point.

Do the 5312 Magnum boots with ion mask always have the little tag on the outside of the boot indicating they have it? My pair from Tactical Gear which included ion mask in the description of the boot, has no ion mask tag on them.

Asked by: John99
The Stealth Force 6.0 does not have ion mask anymore, instead our products have i-shield. It is a method that shields all open types of leather and most types of fabric or mesh that protects our products from water, oil and dirt. It makes the boots repellent to liquids and protects for long wear. i-shield ensures to protect our products from the elements.

Can these be washed in a washing machine?

Asked by: Firefighter2013
We would not recommend washing these boots in a washing machine. It is best to wash your boots by hand, using a damp towel and/or brush to scrub off dirt and grime, let them air dry, then finish them with a good leather conditioner such as Nikwax.
