Rated 3 out of 5 by from Review Update I’ve had these boots a little over 2 months now and tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I can’t change my overall rating. They have broken in a little more and are a little more comfortable but still nothing like the classics. The sole seem to be a harder compound and as such not as comfortable. I have a pair of Converse side zip safety toe that are a bit more comfortable, down side is kneeling down with a safety toe isn’t. The insole also doesn’t feel as comfortable, the holes and the arch pad just seem to give a bit of discomfort after having them on a few hours. And they came up with a lace track right at the ankle joint made of cloth, not the best idea when you tie your boots, mine broke about a month in. Still wish the classics were available, it’s a shame but think I may need to look at elsewhere for a pair of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy on the feet Had these boots for 2 years. Now back to work as a deputy in a rurual county in OK. These boots work great from Interstate to cow pastures, gravel roads and river bottoms. In the recent 100 plus heat, my feet are cooler than my body. I feel more tired from the body armour and duty belt than being on my feet all day in the heat. And they are easy to clean up and put a shine back on them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LONG TERM REVIEW Well, after many years my Stealth boots finally gave out. While I was patrolling the other night in a rainstorm when I discovered a hole in the sole of the left boot. I had noticed that the boots were wearing a bit thin but love them so much that I hated the idea of hanging them up. These boots have been through hell and back, chasing suspects through woods, through creeks, soaked to the bone, knee-deep snow, sand, mud, and ice. From blistering summer heat to subzero winters. These things just wouldn’t quit. I’ve kicked doors clean off their hinges with these boots and never once worried about hurting an ankle or foot. I can honestly say I believe Magnum boots are by far the best in the industry. Fear not with these boots, they will serve you well. Now as for the next pair? I’ve opted to try the Magnum Response II 8.0 and hope they do as well as the Stealth. Time will tell and I’ll give updates to their worthiness. And as for my old faithful Stealth’s, you ask? They will serve many more easy years of simple chores around the house and grass mowing in their retirement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great boots I've had these boots since 2010, and still going strong. I will be buying a new pair soon, as the ones i got are finally just starting to tear around the sole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Survived Mount Fuji I have been wearing these boots for over two years now. Last year in July, I hiked up Mount Fuji with them. It held up great on the loose volcanic rocks. On the climb up, I had no problems at all. The climb down, I slipped twice, but that was to be expected given the loose terrain. Since then, I have purchased another pair of the same boots, but I have yet to use them. The other ones are still holding up fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stealth boots Finally picked up new boots and can say they are a far cry from my Magnum Classics. The classics were great right out of the box and have lasted a long time, the Stealth is vastly different so far. I'm hopping they wont take long to break in and loosen up but from the start I'm not impressed. Truly wish they still had the classics available in my size I would have picked them up. I'll update in a few weeks.

The video shows the boots having a side zip. There is no "sz" in the product name, so is the video in error concerning the ziper? I will never buy side zip boots again and am hoping you have model without it.

Asked by: Hingeshot
The Stealth Force 8.0 (style number : 5220) does not come with a side zip. We do have that option available to those who would prefer the side zip, but it is designated in the product name. On our website we feature one product video to represent the entire Stealth Force collection, which is why the side zip was shown in the video.

Do these run true to size? In the past they ran a little big I wear a 10 always told to get 9.5. is this still true?

Asked by: John9
The Stealth Force run true to size. If you have previously purchased our products, we recommend continuing to purchase the size that works well for you.

Do these boots qualify as Winter boots for temperatures below freezing and for snow.

Asked by: Jerome
Hello Jerome, This model of the Stealth Force 8.0 boots is not waterproof, therefore would not be the best winter option. I would recommend the Viper Pro 8.0 400 WP (product #: 5476), which is a waterproof and Thinsulate insulated boot. You might also consider a non-insulated waterproof Stealth Force 8.0 (product #: 5870), which will keep your feet dry, but won't be quite as warm as the Viper Pro. Unfortunately, the Stealth Force is only available in a couple sizes at this time. Hopefully this helps!
