Stealth Force 8.0 Desert Tan is rated 4.8333 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Over a year with these worn daily... ..and they are still my favorite boots. I'm seriously impressed with these boots. I bought them in early 2014 to go to a trade shot (SHOT Show), and was immediately impressed. They are VERY lightweight compared to other boots of this style (Bates, etc.), and they are much more comfortable. I've worn these numerous times for 14+ hour days, and my feet did not hurt one bit. The light weight, along with the design of the soles, makes them almost feel like tennis shoes at times. This year at SHOT Show 2015 marked one year with my Stealths, and they are still looking great. When I say I've been wearing them everyday, I mean it, and this includes hunting with them, wearing them during the harsh winter months out in the snow, etc. So far there are no signs of them coming apart, which is seriously impressive considering I normally only get 6-9 months of daily wear out of a set of boots before they start to come apart. My ONLY complaint about the Stealth Force 8.0s is the laces. I called Magnum right after I bought them to ask if I could buy a different set, and the helpful lady on the other end sent me a free set (or two, IIRC) of new tan laces that were much nicer than the originals. I will buy no other booth from here on out. Now if they would just get my size back in stock!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Initial review Bought these today (8-8-12) after returning the 4th pair boots in 6 months. To say that I'm hard on boots is an understatement. I'm a landscaper and am on my feet all day, so I need a boot that has comfort and durablity. So far these fit the bill. Wore them around my house tonight and they feel great. They work very well with my orthitics. I wore the first pair of Magnum boots (back when Hi-Tech was still the name on them) when I was in the Marine Corp. Something I would change to the boots is to add a rubber overlay to the top of the toes and change to laces to tan para cord. Looking forward to wearing them to work tomorrow. I will add reviews as I wear them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stealth Force Desert Boot I have owned these boots for years. Best hiking boots I have ever worn. I hike often and my boots were showing the normal wear and tear boots due to their use. I bought another pair last fall and only had a couple of hikes on them. My son came home on leave from the Army and was complaining about his feet hurting in his Government issue boots. I told him to try on my boots to see how he liked them. He tried them on and I never saw them again. So I had to buy another pair to replace those. He is extremely happy with them and I am extremely happy with my newest pair. Great boots would recommend them to everyone I know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AK-47 of Boots I got them cheap (on sale and I had gift cert). I bought them for working outside or knocking around town on the bike. I didn't have much in them so who cares what they look like or if they last? They do look good, probably better than in the picture. They feel like you're wearing slippers; very, very tough slippers. For the last few years I have worn them just about everywhere because they are so comfortable. They used to look okay with khakis (or maybe I'm rationalizing wearing tactical boots to church). Over a year ago I went down on my somewhat modified (fast) Suzuki Bandit. I broke my leg, but the Magnums were fine. I still have them, and I still wear them. I did a far amount of my rehab in them. By now they have a lot of character (look beat) from all the road miles, street miles, abuse and general neglect. Still, they have no holes, the stitching is fine and the soles have plenty of wear left. And if anything they are even more comfortable. They simply will not die!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Combat boot I have worn, period! I purchased a pair of Magnum boots before deploying to Afghanistan in 2010/11. I am still wearing the same pair of boots today. They have survived two combat deployments and a lot of training missions. Not to mention, that they are my favorite hiking boots when I am home. They are comfortable, sturdy, well designed/built, and good looking - even after all I have put them through. I will wear Magnum boots for the rest of my military career.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are Great! If you are looking for a great pair of boots that last and are really comfortable look no further. These boots treated me well durning a deployment and through Airborne School, I just wish the Px carried them. If they did I would have another pair already!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best boot I've ever owned Ive had the black stealth force 8.0 water proof boot for 5+ years and there still kicking with minor tearing at the Achilles tendent area. I was very disappointed to find out they stopped making the black 8.0 wp unless you want that side zipper big no. So I ordered the 8.0 desert tan although there not wp I'm sure they'll do.BRING BACK THE BLACK WATER PROOF 8.0 WITHOUT A SIDE ZIPPER PLEASE

I've already bought my stealth desert boots, but I want to know how do I clean them. They are stained with blood dirt and mud, how do I clean them?

Asked by: Dante58
In regards to boot care: With heavy use, the surface of the materials may become blocked with dirt and may require cleaning to ensure the technology retains its functionality. If your boots do need cleaning, gently apply a soft, water-damp cloth to the area. A gentle dabbing action should remove the foreign particles and fully drying the product in a warm area (not too hot) will regenerate the liquid repellency. Do not use any alcohol based fluids/chemicals for cleaning as this will impede the ion-mask™ technology. Please do not machine wash. Polishing/shining boots will not have a negative effect on the ion-mask™ technology. MAGNUM compatible boot care products are available from most footwear retailers.

Is the sizing/fit on the Stealth Force 8 Desert Tan the same as for the Ultra-Lite II's? If I wear an 8 wide in the Ultra-lite will the same size do me for the Stealth Force 8 Desert Tan?

Asked by: Bradoflv
These two boots should fit very similarly as far as sizing goes. The Stealth Force 8.0 is built around an athletic type structure, so it will have a different feel, but the size should be accurate.

Do the non zipper boots run narrow like the zippered ones. I wear a 9 regular in original swat but would I need a wide in the magnum stealth desert.

Asked by: shotgun
If you a wear a wide in the Magnum Stealth Force desert tan, you will probably need a wide in this style as well. If you are not sure, we recommend trying them in store.
