- Best Boot that I have found, hopefully it will continue to improve. Review by Bill
I just ordered my third pair of these workboots. I work for a prison in the maintenance dept. I picked these boots because of its resistance to chemicals, bacteria and the composite toe. The first pair lasted 8 months before the tread wore out. The second pair almost lasted a year before the side zipper blew out. I didn't take advantage of the 1 year warranty because I would probably only get one or two more months out of the tread. Don’t get me wrong, I love these boots and I especially love Magnum’s philosophy about people having quality shoes and the pride they have in their product. They only reason I am posting this review, is that I hope they are still trying to make their products better. My goal is to get one pair to last a full year. (Posted on 10/16/13)
- the MOST comfortable boots PERIOD! Review by Eric
I bought these boots after having a pair of a $220 usmc boots. While those were comfy and all, the soles split after 2 years! So I set out to look for another pair. Which may seem simple but in my size its not. Since I wear a 15 wide there are not many brands that fit my needs of waterproof, safety toe and light weight. I came to find Magnum through lots of on line recommendations and YouTube reviews. So I check it out. And they have my size! First plus. And they are size zip and lightweight. So I order them. I received them today and they fit very nicely. And as soon as I stood up in them I felt that comfort everyone tells me of. I am serious when I say this. These are more comfortable than a good pair of sneakers. And walking feels like your walking on a pillow of air. Especially in the heel area which is so nice. Thank you magnum for making great boot a affordable price. (Posted on 8/3/13)
- MOST AMAZING BOOT I HAVE EVER WORN. Review by Ryan
I ordered the Stealth Force 8.0 SZ CT WPi because I was in need of a new pair of boots, and I had specific specifications that I needed my new boots to fulfill. I had used normal work boots, and they were nice, but it was always a pain to find a good fit.
The features that are the most valuable on this boot are the side zip, composite toe, and the waterproofing. The side zip is invaluable while sitting in a rig waiting for a call. It allows you to keep your boots laced and tight, while giving you comfort. It is simple to just zip it up, and it is as tight as when you first tie them.
The composite toe is a wonderful feature. If you are thinking about getting a steel toe, don't do it. Sure, if you live in the southern states, you don't experience the cold. But, living in Michigan, I always assumed that I would have to tolerate my toes going numb while at the scene of a MVC. But, with the composite toe, I have yet to have cold feet.
The waterproofing is essential for working with EMS. When you are unsure of what you are going to experience while going on a call, it is nice to have the reassurance that you won't have wet, cold feet.
There are a couple things that I would change. I would have thicker leather on the toe, because I have already broken through the leather. This is a problem because I have to polish and shine the boots weekly. It hasn't been a problem yet, but I am certain that in the future it will be.
The other thing I would change are the laces. Although they are strong, and they do a great job of staying tight. But, when trying to tighten the boots, it really wears on the fingers.
That is all I have to say. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate from recommending these to another professional. They are the most comfortable boots that I have ever worn, and it is nice to get all the perks in one system. Thank you Magnum! You guys made one hell of a boot! (Posted on 1/16/13)
- It has it all Review by Ryan
It has it all. Comfort, reliability, and protection. When I never know what the next call will bring, I am always confident that my feet are going to be getting me home safely at night. With the ion-mask technology, I don't have to worry about stepping in blood, or blood dripping on my boots. With the Composite Toe, I can arrive at a MVC, and not worry about my toes. With the Side Zip, I can sit on a rig for a 24-hour shift, and not take my boots off once. That is why I wear Magnum. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- Accident Review by Walt
I was in a bad motorcycle accident on May 27, 2011 in which I was struck by a car. After surgery through the night, the surgeon came walking into the room on the 28th and said that "if it wasn't for the boot you were wearing we wouldn't be having this conversation." The boot saved my foot from being ripped off my leg and the surgeon saved both my foot and my boot. Thank you Magnum for such a superior product. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- PERFECT FOR ANY JOB Review by CJ
I am currently working towards earning my EMT basic certification, and working another job as well. These boots are a must not only for emergency services personnel, but anybody who wants a beautiful, functional, comfortable, and reliable pair of footwear for the needs of everyday life.
I wear these on the job, off the job and just about anywhere else. When I am exercising, they keep my feet and ankles supported and feeling wonderful. When on the truck I never have to worry about what the next call holds. The zipper makes them come on and off smoothly in just a few seconds, and on any terrain they hold up wonderfully, with just a quick brush off they look brand new again. I have always had problems with my ankles yet the support that these give me far outweighs any duty boot that I have tried. I absolutely love the M-PACT insoles; they form to my foot wonderfully and even after 24 hours they leave my feet feeling better that ever. I would recommend not only this product, but also the entire line of Magnum products to everyone, in all walks of life. You will definitely get more than enough bang for your buck. Fit, Durability, Value and Comfort -- an A++ to Magnum team! (Posted on 1/16/13)
- I LOVE MY NEW BOOTS Review by Nathan
This is the second pair of Magnum boots I have owned. I had a pair about 12 years ago when I was in the Air Force and loved them. When I was looking for a new pair of motorcycle boots these were my only option. It's hard to find a side zipper, waterproof, safety toe boot. I don't know why but they are hard to find. After having these boots for about three weeks I love them, they fit great, I can wear them 12-13 hours without any problems, and my feet don't sweat like with other boots. The zippers work great once my boots broke in and I got the laces tied right. The only problem I have is with the left boot, my shifter has wore the finish off, I hope I can fix it with some black polish... other than that I don't think I will own another boot. Thanks Magnum, and keep up the great work. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- WORST CONDITIONS POSSIBLE Review by Michael
I started my career in the marine time industry as an engineer and bought a pair of these boots. In an average temperature of 130 degrees plus with diesel, heavy oils, and steel decks, the boots simply would not quit. The only part of the boot that became worn was the toe area where the leather began to deteriorate with constant smacking over time. A great boot and a great purchase. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- PERFECT OVERALL DUTY BOOT: WELL ALMOST Review by Carl
Three months ago I had to purchase new work boots for my job as a correctional officer. Using military jump boots my entire career, I was worried I wouldn't find something as good, but boy was I was wrong. These boots were perfect being that they were light, comfortable, and durable. I am literally on my feet for an 8 hour shift and walk two miles to and from the train station and NOT ONCE have my feet been sore. But there are a lot of other benefits such as they do not set off the metal detector and the side zipper makes them simple to take on and off, compared to lacing up combat boots.
I recently used these boots to go pheasant hunting and do to the heavy rains I can safely say that they are completely water proof, even with the zipper (which I was skeptical about). Also the composite toe really doesn't add weight to the shoe and keeps it slightly heavier to the toes of the shoe but not at all noticeable once they are on.
But that is where the one problem is, the leather over the composite toe once scuffed or scratched peals the leather off leaving terrible looking underneath leather. Magnum is honoring their warranty and will be sending me out a new pair of boots because they claim this is not supposed to happen. The exchange process was simple and easy; they paid for the return shipping and going to send me out a new pair free of charge.
If you are looking for a rugged and comfortable boot for all type of duty use, keeping your feet warm from cold weather and comfortable and supported at all times, you have absolutely selected the right boots to try.
Oh and one of the best things was there was zero break in period, and if you usually buy wide shoes obviously select wide option for this boot too.

- PERFECT SHOES Review by Ivo
Perfect fit. Absolutely no sweaty feet. No water coming through. And even after walking 20 miles, still no hurt feet! These are the perfect shoe. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- I LOVE THEM Review by Mike
The boots are the best I've bought and I've had plenty of other brands. I'm 6'8" and weigh 300 lbs. I wear a 15 EEE, so as you can imagine...good boots are hard to come by. I'm hoping to get another pair soon because I'm definitely a customer for life. (Posted on 1/16/13)
- Great Boots Review by Mark
I have wore Magnum boots my last 4 years in the Navy to replace my flight boots and have wore them the last 9 years as a structural mechanic to work on military aircraft as a contractor. They are lightweight, comfortable boots. They give great support and are very durable in my line of work. I have tried cheaper ones, but always come back to my Magnums. Great job to you all for making a great boot (Posted on 8/22/12)
- Another Pair Review by Mark
Just had to replace my last pair of boots and did so with another pair of Stealth Force 8.0 SZ CT WPi. They are probably one of the best pair of boots I have ever wore. They are light, durable, don't make your feet sweat and are comfortable boots. One of the few that come in my size, being an 8.5 wide. Thank you for making a boot for the people that use them. Keep up the good work. (Posted on 8/22/12)
